Current NeedThe Director of Market Analytics is the internal expert on data and analytics used to help drive Network, practice, and patient growth. The director is responsible for leading the development of the structure, methodologies, and processes used to answer strategic questions with data and insight. Key objectives include establishing a core set of validated analyses to support growth initiatives, identifying appropriate sources and methodologies to track critical industry statistics and market trends, and building the infrastructure to allow for customized analyses to address business requests. The director will regularly interact with executive levels and partner with key stakeholders to understand their needs, develop analytic assessments to help drive decisions, and provide recommendations based on data insights. The director will lead the Market Analytics team focused on supporting the Network, Practice, and Patient Growth teams as well as the practices in The US Oncology Network.


Position DescriptionManage analytics team and infrastructure - e.g., ensure continuous improvement, validation of analytic methodologies, data refresh cadence, on-going distribution plan of core analyses and metricsCollaborate with Network, practice, and patient growth counterparts to understand market data and analytics needs, develop required tools and analysis to support strategies, and communicate insights and recommendationsDevelop deep understanding of available internal and external data sourcesEnsure new analytic needs are understood, prioritized, and fulfilled efficientlyDrive development and ability to operationalize meaningful core reports to be distributed to all practices - responsible for the team's execution of these analysesIdentify data and technology providers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationshipsWork with Salesforce and Business Objects teams to ensure platforms meet business needs and optimized for required analyticsQualifications
Minimum Requirements8+ years of marketing experience including 5+ years managerial experienceCritical Skills
4-year degree in Analytics, Business Management, or equivalent degree. Proficiency in analyzing large quantities of raw data and understanding the trends/story the data shows. Ability to communicate the key findings from the data in a concise and actionable manner.Minimum eight years work experience in consulting, analytics, market planning, strategy, or other similar discipline, including at least 5 years overseeing the analytics function.Must have advanced Excel skillsAdditional Knowledge & SkillsGood management, communication and analytical skills; thorough knowledge of company products
MBA preferred
Managerial experience preferred
